Thames Nutrition offers nutrition consultation services primarily for children, led by paediatric dietitian Gemma Ransome.

Permission will always be requested if it is necessary for Thames Nutrition to contact other agencies or health professionals regarding your child.

Self-referrals as well as referrals from GPs, Paediatricians, Health visitors and Health Care Professionals are accepted.

All appointments are confidential, and medical information is stored under Data Protection Regulations.

Payment is due 24 hours before the day of the appointment. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may incur a charge of 50% of the cost of the appointment.

Telephone and virtual appointments are available and will be considered on an individual basis.

Initial consultation and assessment - 60 min
Your appointment will include an assessment of your child's growth, an analysis of the nutritional adequacy of their diet and identification of any potential nutritional deficiencies and physical health risks. Nutritional advice will be tailored to your chid's individual circumstances and goals will be set in discussion with you. There will be the opportunity to discuss your concerns and questions.

Follow up consultation -
30 min
Follow up appointments can be booked to review progress and symptoms. Adjustments to the diet plan can be made if needed and further advice and support can be provided.

Selective eater package -
90min + 45 min
I offer an extended 90 minute appointment with follow up for picky/selective eaters to ensure a comprehensive assessment can be completed with an action plan. Progress will be monitored at a 45 minute review.
